Operators of the Tor-800 UGV from the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, “Khartiya”, evacuated a wounded soldier under challenging combat conditions. The brigade’s press service shared the details of the operation with Defender Media.

The incident occurred during a logistics mission: the drone was transporting cargo on one of the front lines when the operators learned of a wounded comrade nearby. The new priority became his immediate evacuation. The infantryman had suffered a serious leg injury; his condition was assessed as moderate, but any delay could have proved fatal.

The situation was complicated by over 13 km of difficult terrain, the constant presence of enemy UAVs in the air, and the lack of a safe route for traditional evacuation. Despite the risks, the drone was able to deliver the wounded soldier to the medical evacuation point via forest trails and field roads.

This case is not unique; the K-2 Regiment previously reported evacuating a wounded serviceman using the Ardal UGV.

The Tor-800 logistics UGV is a participant in the Brave1 trials. It is known to be capable of passing through minefields and transporting up to 400 kg of cargo.
