Almost half a million for technology for the frontline – Brave1 member Vidar Systems has raised $450K from Czech fund Presto Ventures and angels.

The Vidar Systems acoustic system detects firing positions of artillery and mortars. Thanks to Brave1, the technology developers have raised almost half a million dollars from angel investors and the Presto Ventures venture fund. This was announced on his telegram channel by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

The funds will be used to expand the team and scale the product to make it even more convenient to use in combat.

“The venture fund was introduced at the Invest Demo Day organised by Brave1. The Defence Cluster regularly presents Ukrainian defence tech companies to investors and helps them understand how the market works. Thanks to Brave1, investors find promising technologies they are interested in investing in, and top developments receive funding”, says Mykhailo Fedorov.

We would like to remind you that Vidar Systems took second place in the defence track of the Startup Competition at this year’s IT Arena. The reward amounted to $10K.
