Tencore developed a flamethrower combat module for its TerMIT 2.0 UGV

Ukrainian defence tech company Tencore has unveiled a new combat module for its TerMIT 2.0 UGV. It combines eight RPV-16 rocket infantry flamethrowers and is currently undergoing testing. The manufacturer disclosed this to Defender Media.

The system is equipped with eight 93mm calibre RPV-16 thermobaric flamethrowers. The effective firing range is up to 600m, while the maximum possible range is up to one kilometre.

The new module is being developed to engage Russians in dugouts and urban areas, and to destroy light vehicles. It can fire single shots or release the full ammunition package.

The manufacturer adds that it has equipped the system with a 3-level safety system. It is also being developed for future integration with an AI module, so that tasks can be carried out under enemy EW.

The product is currently at the early prototype stage and has passed its first field trials.

As a reminder, this month Tencore announced the launch of a joint venture with Finland’s Insta to produce Ukrainian UGVs. A few days before that, the company signed a memorandum with Copenhagen Global A/S, which will help bring domestic platforms to the Danish market.
