New US-Ukrainian Oppenheimer Acceleration Fund will invest in Defence Tech
Previously, the fund’s founders have already invested in Ukrainian defense startups Swarmer and Bavovna.AI

On January 1, 2025, the acceleration program of the Oppenheimer Acceleration venture fund was launched. This new US-Ukrainian fund based in California invests in defence startups.
Oppenheimer Acceleration was founded by Network.VC, which has been making venture capital investments in Silicon Valley for over 10 years. The managing partner of Network.VC and Oppenheimer Acceleration is Alexander Soroka, a well-known manager and investor in the Ukrainian investment ecosystem. His company Network.VC has previously invested in Ukrainian defense startups, including Bavovna.AI and Swarmer.
Oppenheimer Acceleration will focus on investments in early and seed-stage defense startups. The founders plan to invest $2 million in the fund’s first batch. In addition to money, Oppenheimer Acceleration promises to help with access to experts and specialized testing laboratories, government support and grant programs, and a network of partners and customers.
