Russians destroy Skyeton’s Kyiv office – no casualties reported

In the night of 13-14 May, Russians destroyed the Kyiv office of the Ukrainian defence tech company Skyeton. All staff survived, the manufacturer confirmed to Defender Media.

The company added that it had understood Skyeton would sooner or later become a target for the Russians. Manufacturing capacity was therefore distributed across different parts of Ukraine and abroad. The company established production in Slovakia, organised at the facilities of Tropozond s.r.o. – a factory within the Skyeton Group.

The company also launched a joint venture in the United Kingdom with Prevail Partners. In March 2026, it agreed a cooperation with Spain’s Escribano. They will jointly develop and manufacture strike laser-guided systems based on Ukrainian drones.

Skyeton will continue its operations despite the destruction of its Kyiv office. Its flagship product is the Raybird reconnaissance drone, which the manufacturer periodically updates.

Over the course of the night, Russians launched more than 670 strike drones and 56 missiles against Ukraine, including ballistic and cruise variants. In Kyiv, in addition to Skyeton’s office, damage was recorded at 20 locations. There was also destruction in Kyiv Oblast, Kremenchuk, and Chornomorsk, President Zelensky wrote.

In total, from the start of 13 May, Russians deployed more than 1,560 drones against Ukraine.
