Teletactica has successfully tested a video transmission system at a range of 170 km
At a range of 70–100 km, the system transmitted 4K video. At maximum range – a 720p

Ukrainian defence tech company Teletactica has announced the successful completion of a long-range test of its communications system. With it on board, a drone was able to transmit stable video at an altitude of 3 km and at a flight distance of 170 km.
At a distance of 70–100 km, the system transmitted 4K video. At maximum range, 720p “turned out to be more than enough”, the company writes. Drone telemetry also remained operational throughout the entire flight. Maximum data transfer speed exceeded 20 Mbit/s.
Teletactica adds that this opens new possibilities for deep reconnaissance. CEO Yevhen Zhebko disclosed to Defender Media that their video module is used by dozens of manufacturers and dozens of military units. “Hundreds of units in regular use, from this year we are moving to thousands,” he added.
The company’s current product line includes video modems, telemetry modems, antennas, and an FPV kit. The team is also developing a protected mesh communications system for which it has received a grant from the Estonian Ministry of Defence. The total project value is €300,000.
The company has offices in Ukraine, Estonia, and Latvia. The Estonian–Ukrainian vector focuses on R&D. The Latvian office is transitioning to developing end products that use, among other things, the company’s communications technologies.
