The Role

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Head of Legal. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s legal security, mitigating risks, and leading the legal function across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts and international agreements
• Compliance: Ensure all business activities and contracts align with national and international legislation
• Negotiations: Act as a lead legal representative in negotiations with counterparties and partners
• Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal opinions and consultations to internal departments on financial and operational matters
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal threats and develop proactive strategies to minimise risks
• Internal Governance: Develop and optimise standard contract templates and internal legal policies
• Litigation & Compliance: Liaise with government authorities and manage claims and litigation processes
• Intellectual Property: Oversee IP and copyright protection within contractual frameworks
• Public Procurement: Manage legal aspects of government tenders and public procurement (an advantage)

Qualifications:

• Education: University degree in Law (LL.M. or JD preferred)
• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in contract law and legal management
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of commercial, civil, and corporate law
• International Scope: Experience working with international legal frameworks and cross-border transactions
• Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Qualities: High level of autonomy, responsibility, and impeccable attention to detail
• Languages: English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Key Responsibilities:

• U.S. Operations: Manage accounting for a U.S.-based manufacturing entity in strict compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) requirements
• European Oversight: Oversee accounting and payments for European subsidiaries and manage transactions across the EU and the USA
• Export & Compliance: Prepare documentation for export operations and manage audits/inspections both in Ukraine and abroad
• Automation: Lead the automation of accounting processes to enhance efficiency
• Foreign Economic Activity (FEA): Participate in drafting and reviewing international commercial contracts.
• Cost Optimisation: Analyse and optimise operational costs for international business activities

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years as a Chief Accountant, preferably within companies involved in international trade (FEA)
• Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Ukrainian tax legislation, specifically VAT regulations for export activities
• Financial Management: Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L preparation
• Software Proficiency: Advanced user of 1C, M.E.Doc, Excel, and other modern accounting/ERP systems

Your primary focus:

• Software development using C/C++ for STM32 and STM8 controllers

You will be a great fit if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in microcontroller programming (specifically STM32)
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
• In-depth knowledge of STM32 and STM8 microcontrollers (core and peripherals)

REQUIREMENTS

• Studies: Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or an Engineering-related field
• Knowledge of telecommunications, RF and satellite communications.
• Strong IT technical skills (hardware and software), programming knowledge,
  communication/ navigation signal processing, RF test equipment, and experience in
  configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting systems.
• Excellent communication abilities, presentation and technical writing skills
• Level of English: medium – high (B2 minimum). Spanish would be valued
• It will be strongly valued: work experience in SatCom (satellite communications) industry
  and VSAT network knowledge.

TASKS

• Technical work: Test, manage and monitor operating systems. Installations and
  troubleshooting. Design and build customer RF measurement networks. Configuring servers
  and computers. Contribution to the development of software
• Customer service: customer support, performing demos and product training for
  customers. Preparation and delivery of technical customer presentations and
  demonstrations
• Pre & post-sales support to the regional Sales Manager
• Attendance at trade events and networking activities with customers
