American defence tech company Neros, which produces FPV drones, is opening an office in Kyiv and looking for a Country Manager. Defender Media learned this from the BazaIT Defense platform, which is helping recruit candidates for the position.

Neros is the manufacturer of Archer FPV drones. In March 2025, the company won a contract to supply 6,000 of these drones to Ukraine, announcing at the time that it would complete delivery within six months.

The Archer is an 8-inch FPV drone equipped with a 2 kg warhead, a range of over 20 km, multi-frequency control, and a wide-band video link resistant to jamming.

In March 2025, Neros raised $35 million in a Series A round led by Vy Capital US, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Interlagos, D3, and other investors.

Recently, Defender Media reported that Kateryna Bezsdna, co-founder of the Defence Builder accelerator, was appointed head of the Ukrainian office of TEKEVER.
