Excalibur International to help Ukrainian-American Bavovna with international expansion
Bavovna’s tech will be used in Excalibur International’s client projects involving drones operating in the air, on the surface and underwater

American-Ukrainian company Bavovna has announced a partnership with Czech firm Excalibur International, part of the CSG group. Under the agreement, Excalibur will coordinate commercial activities and use its connections to support Bavovna’s expansion into international markets.
The press release states that Bavovna’s technologies will be used in Excalibur International’s client projects involving drones operating in the air, on the surface and underwater.
Bavovna develops autonomous stacks and navigation technologies that let drones withstand electronic warfare and operate independently, even without satellite communication.
“Partnering with Excalibur International accelerates Bavovna’s reach into key defence and security projects, leveraging EIN’s strong channel coordination and market access”, says Maksym Prasolov, CGO at Bavovna.
Bavovna was founded in 2022 by Ukrainian expatriates, but is headquartered in Charleston, USA. The company became the first Ukrainian startup to be included in the US military programme Air Force Labs MassChallenge.
In 2024, the company closed a $2.7m seed round led by the Tech Horizons fund. The CSG group, which includes Excalibur, is a strategic partner of the fund.
