The Octopus-100 interceptor drone by TAF Industries is now available for ordering by military units, the manufacturer has announced. The system can be purchased via the company’s website and through Brave1 Market.

The price of a single interceptor drone on Brave1 Market is UAH 117,000, while a comprehensive package comprising 10 drones and all necessary supporting equipment is priced at UAH 1,574,000.

A batch of Octopus-100 interceptor drones has successfully completed field testing and was deployed to military units for combat operations, paving the way for the launch of serial production.

According to TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi, the company refined the drone’s design and tactical and technical specifications during preparations for mass production. Notably, the drone’s speed was increased by more than 20%. The aerodynamics of the Octopus-100 were also enhanced by upgrading the battery and motors, alongside modifying the propeller design.

The Octopus-100 interceptor drone is engineered to engage jet-powered Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles and other high-speed aerial targets. The drone is capable of operating in dense electronic warfare environments and can be deployed to protect critical infrastructure from UAV attacks.

Key specifications of the system include an automatic terminal guidance system, operation across specified speed and altitude envelopes, and control via FPV systems.

Serial production of the Octopus interceptor drone commenced in November 2025. At the time, the Ministry of Defence reported that the manufacturing technology had been transferred to three producers, while an additional eleven companies were setting up production lines. Beyond Ukrainian enterprises, the interceptor is also being manufactured in the United Kingdom under a licensing agreement.
