Buntar Aerospace raises $10.4m to scale UAV production and software development
As part of this round, Buntar and Axon are developing a strategic partnership

Ukrainian deftech company Buntar Aerospace has raised $10.4m in investment. The round was led by Axon Enterprise, Inc., joined by Norwegian investment consortium Munkene AS and other private investors.
The funding will help scale production of the Buntar-3 reconnaissance systems and develop the Buntar Copilot software. As part of this round, Buntar and Axon are developing a strategic partnership aimed at commercial cooperation and technology integration. The goal is to expand access to ISR capabilities.
“This funding will help us scale systems that give operators information as early as possible and help save lives in the most critical moments,” says Buntar Aerospace co-founder Bohdan Sas.
The Buntar-3 reconnaissance complex was first publicly unveiled in late May 2025. It is an electric vertical take-off and landing UAV capable of conducting missions of up to four hours.
Copilot is an operator “combat assistant”. It predicts mission scenarios, helps avoid errors under stress, calculates flight sequencing, ensures continuous coverage, and provides centralised streaming from multiple cameras.
