Ukrainian companies Frontline Robotics and BUREVII have integrated the Buria robotic turret, armed with an Mk 19 grenade launcher, with the ARDAL UGV.

According to the developers, the system operates remotely, supports autonomous and semi-autonomous movement and targeting modes, and is capable of covering routes of tens of kilometres in both directions. Operators can remotely control both the ground platform and the turret.

The integrated Buria + ARDAL system has already been deployed in combat conditions and carried out an offensive operation.

The Buria robotic turret with an Mk 19 grenade launcher supports up to 48 hours of autonomous operation, stores up to 256 targets, and delivers an accuracy of up to 3 metres at a range of 2 km. The turret is equipped with a built-in ballistic calculator, enabling firing based on the principle of “coordinate – shot – hit” by selecting a point on a map. A programmed burst mode with a predefined pattern within a designated sector is also available.

A system of sensors allows the turret to determine its position in space and automatically compensate for the tilt of the platform or tripod during targeting.

The ARDAL unmanned ground vehicle is a universal tracked platform with a top speed of up to 14 km/h, a range of up to 40–50 km on a single charge, and a payload capacity of up to 250 kg. The platform supports up to four communication channels, including two radio channels and two IP channels, one of which is Starlink, ensuring connectivity between the UGV and the turret over long distances.

Earlier, Defender Media reported on a joint venture between Ukraine’s Frontline Robotics and Germany’s Quantum Systems to produce drones in Germany. Also, in December, the company unveiled the new Buria 2.0 robotic turret.
