Wild Hornets develop a digital video system for their STING interceptors
The system detects aerial targets at ranges of up to 2 km and can work with drones of other companies

The Ukrainian company Wild Hornets has unveiled Hornet vision, a digital video system for STING interceptor drones that is already being used to destroy aerial targets. According to the company, Ukrainian forces have already downed hundreds of Shahed- and Gerbera-type drones using STING interceptors equipped with the system.
The complex can detect aerial targets at distances of up to 2 km and features independent communications channels with in-flight switching, as well as 360-degree coverage for both video and radio signals.
Its operational range exceeds 30 km, while the ground station can operate autonomously for up to 24 hours.
Hornet vision supports operations with both digital STING drones and analogue platforms. The ground control station enables video recording and supports live streaming. The system is equipped with daytime cameras and nighttime thermal imaging modules, transmitting high-definition video.
According to the developers, the system can work with any drone, with the overall cost lower than that of Chinese equivalents.
Earlier, Defender Media reported on the new General Cherry AIR Speed interceptor drone. It is a multirotor-type platform designed to intercept fast and highly manoeuvrable aerial targets, including enemy strike UAVs.
