- Experience managing a product roadmap: setting goals, prioritising features, and handling technical debt
- Ability to conduct technical research: analysing SDKs/APIs, evaluating suppliers, and initiating prototypes
- Deep understanding of the hardware and technical product development process: from concept to release
- Skills in gathering requirements and analysing user/customer scenarios (interviews, field feedback, frontline requests)
- Experience planning and running sprints with teams of 2–6 engineers: backlog synchronisation and delivery tracking
- Understanding of quality standards in development: technical documentation, code reviews, integration testing, CI/CD from a product process perspective
- Strong communication skills: ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
- Experience creating or coordinating user documentation (knowledge bases, manuals, guidelines)
- Systematic thinking and ability to plan flexibly in a constantly changing environment
- English at Intermediate+ level: for reading technical documentation, working with SDKs, and basic communication with foreign partners
What is offered:
- Hybrid work format
- Official employment
- Paid vacation of 20 business days and sick leave compensation
- Option to reserve military service obligations
- Career growth and involvement in exciting projects alongside an experienced team of entrepreneurs and engineers from the founding team

The company was founded by a group of entrepreneurs, engineers, managers, and FPV enthusiasts with previous experience at several international technology companies.
Role objective:
The company is developing a high-tech thermal imaging daytime camera and its derivative products — a complex hardware-software solution worked on by specialists in electronics, firmware, mechanics, system design, FPGA, and QA.
As the development scale and complexity grow, the team needs a Technical Lead Embedded Engineer — an engineer who combines deep expertise in embedded systems, systems thinking, and the ability to guide the team through technical challenges.
This role is critical for the development and integration of the product’s embedded component, defining the architecture, key technical solutions, and ensuring implementation quality.
You will drive engineering progress in firmware, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure that our product is reliable, energy-efficient, and meets the highest technical standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in defining device architecture (MCU, peripherals, wireless modules, sensors)
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and specific tasks for the team
- Collaborate with the product team to create prototypes for new products
- Write code and contribute to firmware development (bare-metal, RTOS, Linux)
- Set technical standards: code reviews, integration testing, CI/CD
- Establish team workflows and ensure timely delivery
- Mentor engineers, supporting them in technical decisions and professional growth
- Make key technical decisions related to performance optimisation, energy efficiency, and reliability
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the product team and clients
Required skills and experience:
- 4+ years of experience in embedded development
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ (Python is a plus)
- Development experience with bare-metal, RTOS, and Linux
- Familiarity with protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI
- Experience working with wireless SoCs: BLE, Wi-Fi
- Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers
- Solid understanding of analogue/digital electronics and reading schematics
- Experience with single-board computers (Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson)
- Experience in technical leadership: task setting, quality control, mentoring
- English level — Upper-Intermediate (for working with documentation and client communication)
What is offered:
- Work on complex high-tech products with both hardware and software components
- Opportunity to influence architecture and technical decisions
- An environment that values engineering quality and a systematic approach
- Professional development: mentoring, workshops, and knowledge sharing within the team
- Competitive compensation and a flexible schedule
Experience with the full device development cycle — from prototype to mass production — and involvement in projects related to cameras, sensors, or drones will be an advantage.
