Ukrainian manufacturer of counter-UAV and electronic warfare systems Contra-Drone has unveiled its new device, Sense 3, designed to detect and intercept the analogue video signals of FPV drones. According to the company, the device combines a wide scanning range, a shock-resistant casing, and a competitive price.

Sense 3 operates across three key frequency bands: 5.8 GHz (up to 4 km), 3.3 GHz (up to 4 km), and 1.3 GHz (up to 10 km). Contra-Drone says the wide scanning range enables early detection of various FPV drone signals, giving military operators more time to react.

The device features an aluminium body with a powder-coated finish. It weighs about 600 g and offers up to seven hours of autonomous operation in search mode (up to five hours when displaying video). Full technical specifications are available on the manufacturer’s official website.

According to Contra-Drone representatives, Sense 3 is already being used on the front line. The company receives feedback and footage from Ukrainian troops showing the device helping to detect drones such as Molniya, ZALA, and FPV models, allowing them to avoid strikes or change positions in time. Contra-Drone also reports growing interest in the development from international partners and investment funds.
