The British-Ukrainian defence startup Trypillian has become a resident of the Diia.City special legal regime, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced. He also shared updates on what the project team is working on.

According to Fedorov, Trypillian is currently developing the autonomous long-range strike drone Trypillian SSG, which will be capable of operating without satellite navigation and exhausting enemy air defences. It was previously reported that one of the company’s products would be a “deep strike” system, but details regarding its name and level of autonomy have now been disclosed for the first time.

The startup was founded last year by a team of veterans, military experts and public figures. Its focus is on UAVs and software created by the military for the military, based on real combat experience.

It is also worth noting that in May 2025 Trypillian secured $5 million in investment from former British government minister Brooks Newmark. In an interview with Defender Media, the company’s CEO, Ivan Matveichenko, spoke about the specifics of the company’s work and its plans for both in-house and partner developments.
