The signing ceremony was attended by the presidents of the two countries, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patria has operated in the defence industry for more than 100 years and produces equipment for land, maritime and air systems. General Cherry says the partnership will add Ukrainian experience in mass-producing drones for real-world combat missions, as well as rapidly improving them based on battlefield data, to this industrial infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ukrainian manufacturer also notes that Finland and Ukraine share a border with the same aggressor. \u201cOur partnership is built around this shared threat: production capabilities in Finland and Ukrainian defence tech engineering expertise will shape Europe\u2019s security architecture,\u201d General Cherry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Defender Media previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/08\/general-cherry-july\/\" data-type=\"link\"
