This was reported by former defence minister <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/zedigital\/6894\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Mykhailo Fedorov<\/a>, who showed a video from production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, the development is currently undergoing combat testing. &#8216;We expect results and the first confirmed kills&#8217;, the post says.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1189387554269257%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=560&#038;t=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of today, several teams are working on jet interceptors. In particular, Defender wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/07\/griffen-hits-shahed\/\">about the Griffen drone<\/a> by Firebolt Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Fedorov, the goal of such interceptors is to combat jet-powered Russian drones. This is because the enemy is gradually replacing conventional drones with jet-powered ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To date, the piston-engine Shahed has received three turbojet modifications, which have higher speed and have already attacked Ukraine.
