It is \u20ac25 million fund that invests up to \u20ac1 million in pre-seed companies. It has already made 2 investments and aims to complete 4 to 5 more within its first year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re building the fastest path from battlefield to manufacturing. Europe needs defence technologies that are tested, trusted, and field-ready,\u201d said Ragnar Sass, Partner at Darkstar. \u201cThis fund is not about future visions \u2014 it\u2019s about what works under fire. Majority of Darkstar\u2019 s pipeline is closely connected to the real battlefield with their products being successfully used by Ukraine elite brigades,\u201d Sass disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Sass, more than 30 entrepreneurs and investors from across Europe have backed the fund. It&#8217;s biggest LP is SmartCap \u2014 Estonia\u2019s sovereign defence fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/05\/darkstar-invests-e600-deftak\/\"><strong>R<\/strong>ead more: Darkstar invests \u20ac600,000 in Ukrainian startup Deftak, which develops innovative drone munitions<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With growing urgency to rearm Europe and build modern European defence capabilities, Darkstar is focused on investing in companies whose products meet the demands of today\u2019s warfare.<br><br>\u201cEurope needs defence solutions that are proven under pressure and ready to deploy.
