The programme will be part of the Horizon Europe framework initiative. This was previously announced by Martin Joesaar from the EU Defence Innovation Office in Kyiv during the BRAVE1 event dedicated to EU and Ukrainian support for defence technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukrainian companies will be able to receive grants ranging from \u20ac300,000 to \u20ac500,000. Applications will be accepted from mid-July and will close in September. You can follow project updates <a href=\"https:\/\/eic.ec.europa.eu\/eic-funding-opportunities_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">via this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While preparations for the programme are underway, early-stage startups can apply to participate in the EIC Pre-Accelerator. This support mechanism is focused on deep-tech companies from developing countries, including Ukraine, and helps them increase their investment attractiveness. <a href=\"https:\/\/eic.ec.europa.eu\/eic-funding-opportunities\/eic-pre-accelerator_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">You can apply here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/04\/brave1-to-renew-grant-program\/\"><strong>Read more: <\/strong>Brave1 resumes its grant programme, offering funding ranging from \u20b4500,000 to \u20b48 mln<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although Ukrainian companies currently do not have access to direct grants from the European Defence Fund (EDF), other opportunities remain:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>participation as service providers in EDF projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>full participation in projects through Ukrainian-owned companies in the EU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also highlighted two platforms for finding partners and attracting investments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ASD Connect \u2014 the largest defence cluster in Europe with over 4,500 participants;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EUDIS Matchmaking \u2014 a platform for establishing connections between developers, investors, and industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would like to remind you that Ukrainian arms manufacturers can also receive up to UAH 8 million
