Around 100 companies specialising in the production of key elements for defence equipment participated in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPreviously, Ukrainian defence tech was mostly associated with drones assembled from imported components. The event provided an opportunity for participants to establish new partnerships and discuss the prospects for developing domestic technologies for the defence sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Changes in legislation initiated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation have opened new opportunities for manufacturers of UAV components, contributing to the growth of domestic production. This has allowed for a reduction in dependence on imports and the creation of technologies adapted to the realities of war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is worth noting that the Verkhovna Rada previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/06\/fibre-optic-taxes-lifted\/\">cancelled taxes on the import of optical fibre<\/a> used in strike FPV drones. Additionally, the Ministry of Strategic Industry <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/04\/dorozvidka-07-april\/\">launched the \u201cComponents Library\u201d<\/a> to facilitate interaction
