A representative of the company told Defender Media that the vehicles can be operated either with a driver onboard or as unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/evacuation-drones\/\">casualty evacuation <\/a>and cargo transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dedicated operator stations featuring automotive-style controls are planned for remote operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the configuration, the platform can execute different missions: the troop transport variant accommodates a driver and six service personnel. The casualty evacuation version accommodates a driver, two casualties on stretchers, and two medics. The cargo variant can carry up to 1,000 kg of payload and tow a trailer of equal weight, while the tractor version is intended for towing unmanned ground vehicles and recovering light vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/2avto-1-1024x574.webp\" alt=\"Heavy buggy for CASECAC and cargo transport. The vehicle is powered by a 190 hp engine and features permanent four-wheel drive (4\u00d74). Its top speed is rated at 100 km\/h on paved roads, 80 km\/h across rough terrain, and 40 km\/h off-road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/07\/hardy-ugv\/\"><strong>Four UGVs for different missions:<\/strong> what is known about Ukraine\u2019s H.A.R.D.Y. robotic platforms<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The design utilises independent double-wishbone suspension on all wheels, with 300\u2013350 mm of suspension travel. According to the manufacturer, the diesel variants feature an operational range of several hundred kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four prototype vehicles have been built so far, one of which has been in operation for roughly a year.
