Ukrainian defence tech company Fire Point<\/a> has published an Instagram video<\/a> showcasing the specifications of its upgraded FP-1 and FP-2 strike drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FP-1<\/a> deep-strike drone is capable of flying up to 3,400 km while carrying a 60 kg warhead. The range of the FP-2 mid-strike drone has been increased to 700 km with a 200 kg warhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the manufacturer, the drones have a maximum speed of 205 km\/h and a cruising speed of 140\u2013180 km\/h. Both the FP-1 and FP-2 have a 6-metre wingspan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire Point’s majority owner, Denys Shtilerman<\/a>, also shared new photos of the FP-1 on X, revealing redesigned wings with integrated additional fuel tanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 20 June, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said<\/a> that the upgraded FP-1 was capable of striking targets at ranges exceeding 3,000 km, following the drone’s successful attack on the Tyumen oil refinery, located more than 2,000 km from Ukraine’s border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early July, the FP-1 also struck the Omsk oil refinery<\/a> after flying 3,400 km. That distance has now been officially added to the drone’s published specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
