Danish-Ukrainian defence tech company Dropla Tech<\/a> has raised investment from the US-Ukrainian group MITS Capital. The parties did not disclose the financial terms of the deal but shared details of their future cooperation with Defender Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEO Vyacheslav Shvaidak says they are primarily interested in the infrastructure that MITS provides: an operational back office across various jurisdictions and a portfolio of Ukrainian companies to cooperate with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MITS says the deal will support Dropla Tech’s scaling and deepen integration between the Ukrainian and European defence tech ecosystems. The company plans to increase production to 3,000 UGVs a year. The size of the cheque and the company’s valuation have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With manufacturers in MITS’s portfolio, Dropla Tech is considering joint R&D, sub-integration, and interoperability work. As of July 2026, MITS Capital<\/a>‘s portfolio numbers 20 companies. Dropla Tech’s next ambition is participation in the Build with Ukraine programme, the press release states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, Dropla Tech has also joined the MITS Acceleration Program<\/a>, which focuses on scaling, entry to the NATO market, and access to expertise. The company became one of eight participants in the third cohort and the first to be publicly disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dropla Tech was founded in 2023 by four Ukrainians: Vyacheslav Shvaidak, Dmytro Zarubin, Maksym Tkachenko, and Illarion Karnaukh. The company’s headquarters is located in Denmark, while its engineering and operational capacities are in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company’s flagship product is Blue Eyes Warbox. This is an AI system that detects and identifies mines, improvised explosive devices, and “wait-and-strike” drones. It is currently used by the Defence Forces of Ukraine, and the system has also been codified within the NATO system. The system has more than 5,000 confirmed activations in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Dropla Tech product is Dropla Seer. This is a mobile multi-sensor reconnaissance system that combines aerial and ground sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the company has developed two UGVs: Dropla 4\u00d74 and Dropla 6\u00d76. They are suitable for casualty evacuation, logistics, reconnaissance, and counter-drone operations, and also support the installation of combat modules. Both UGVs were developed to work with the Blue Eyes system, and they are intended for serial production in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MITS says one of the key advantages of Dropla Tech’s products is their ability to integrate into larger unmanned ecosystems. The company had previously agreed to integrate the Burya turret<\/a> from Frontline Robotics onto its UGV. It has also begun integrating its systems into MOSAIC UXS, an AI-based mission management software developed by Quantum Systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
