Ukrainian Armor<\/a> has unveiled<\/a> two new fibre-optic FPV drones. They were shown publicly for the first time at the Brave1 Advantage event in Kyiv in late June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UAVs, designated UB80D15-EFP and UB82FO, are intended to engage enemy personnel, unarmoured and lightly armoured vehicles, and firing positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UB82FO is built on a 15-inch platform and has a take-off weight of 10 kg. The drone is capable of carrying and deploying a full-size 82 mm mortar round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second drone, the UB80D15-EFP, is equipped with a combined 1.5 kg warhead. Unlike fragmentation munitions, this unmanned system is fitted with an explosively formed penetrator (EFP) warhead, which, according to the stated specifications, is capable of penetrating up to 50 mm of armour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drones are controlled via a fibre-optic cable, with both models equipped with 25 km fibre-optic reels. The company has not publicly disclosed their price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the manufacturer, the new unmanned systems are intended to engage personnel, unarmoured and lightly armoured vehicles with armour protection of up to 50 mm, as well as enemy firing positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
