The core of the system is the combination of the LITAVR UAV and 3D LARAG software, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?mibextid=wwXIfr&amp;v=1504731184289443&amp;rdid=EW1tJWUjU7pzioZD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the developers, the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/03\/f7-litavr-updated\/\">updated LITAVR<\/a> UAS is completely independent of the pilot during mission execution. The drone autonomously takes off, intercepts the optimal trajectory, catches up with, and automatically locks onto the target. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The human role in this process is reduced to minimal control based on the human-in-the-loop principle. The operator only presses the launch buttons and confirms the target for engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new interceptor allows the military to track the target destruction process in real time using advanced 2D and 3D visualisation. Operation requires only target coordinates, which the interceptor receives from any type of radar via a universal multi-protocol interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"480\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 848 \/ 480;\" width=\"848\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/litavr.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Fully autonomous LITAVR interceptor. Video: F-Drones<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LITAVR can operate at ranges up to 65 km and reach altitudes over 9 km. Thanks to its proprietary remote control system, monitoring the flight and issuing the command to destroy can be done from anywhere on the planet. In the near future, the developers plan to conduct combat trials and begin full integration of the system into the military.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, Defender Media reported that Ukrainian defence tech startup MaXon Systems had developed a technology that <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/06\/maxon-systems-first-autonomous-shahed-interception\/\">automates 95% of the entire Shahed interception process<\/a> \u2014 from interceptor launch to target neutralisation.
