The Ukrainian cluster Brave1<\/a> has signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus Defence and Space. This is a division of the European corporation Airbus SE that operates in the fields of space systems, defence, and security. The companies shared details of the agreement with Defender Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the cooperation, joint working groups are planned to be established to deal, among other things, with research and the modernisation of existing solutions. In addition, Airbus Defence and Space technologies will be tested in Ukraine on the front line, and the results will be taken into account during further development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brave1 add that this is their first strategic partnership with a leading Western defence corporation. This is also the first step of the new Brave Prime initiative \u2013 a mechanism that integrates global defence industry leaders into the Ukrainian defence ecosystem. Yesterday, Defender Media reported that Swedish defence group Saab had also joined the Brave Prime initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brave1 COO Iryna Zabolotna says the partnership will combine Airbus’s aerospace expertise with Ukraine’s flexible, battle-tested approach to development. Airbus’s defence developments include UAVs, military aircraft, reconnaissance solutions and more. The company also provides satellite communication services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, Airbus will become a strategic partner of the Defence Tech Valley<\/a> summit \u2013 a defence tech summit taking place in Lviv on 16\u201317 September.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
