During the Forum of Norwegian-Ukrainian Partnership, representatives of the two countries signed a memorandum establishing the Norway Desk. This is a service platform created to support Norwegian companies seeking to invest and operate in Ukraine. The office will open in Lviv, mayor Andriy Sadovyi<\/a> announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The service will help foreign companies find local partners, explore investment opportunities in Ukraine, and navigate regulatory requirements. In addition, the platform will provide access to legal and financial expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the State Secretary of Norway’s Ministry of Trade, the country sees significant opportunities for cooperation, particularly in defence tech. Norway remains one of Ukraine’s active partners. The two countries are jointly producing mid-strike drones<\/a>, the government has allocated $130m<\/a> for the procurement of maritime drones for Ukraine, and the Norwegian fund Gardar recently announced \u20ac100m in investment in Ukrainian defence tech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 24 June, Sadovyi also announced the creation of a similar service for German companies \u2013 German Desk. The memorandum was signed by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two countries are likewise actively developing cooperation, including plans to jointly produce drones. UAVs of varying ranges are under consideration: from under 100 km to 1,500 km, Mykhailo Fedorov<\/a> said. It also became known in recent days that Germany will assist Ukraine with the development of an anti-ballistic programme<\/a> and will finance the production of several thousand TerMIT UGVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, Lviv will now be home to three such support offices. In 2025, Japan Desk launched there, helping Japanese companies with investment, business establishment, partner search and more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
