The team plans to reach pre-series production by the end of the year, says project co-founder Artem Veselov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A veteran and his partners founded the company, drawing on their experience with unmanned systems. Their team now not only develops its own products but also breaks them down into a range of solutions and offers these to manufacturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The founders are currently preparing for an investment round at a $10m valuation and for drone testing. Defender Media looks at how Triada Robotics came about and what else the team is working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;The company operates more like a defence tech bureau&#8221;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2009, Artem Veselov worked in investment banking, project management and IT. In 2022, he decided to join Ukraine&#8217;s Armed Forces: &#8220;Such an opportunity does not come often. I was raised to defend, but in everyday life, there is rarely a chance to show it.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Veselov worked across various structures of the Defence Forces and had accumulated experience with unmanned systems since 2022. The founders drew inspiration from Anduril, which also supplies components to other manufacturers while developing its own systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anduril is an American company that produces defence products for use on land, in the air and underwater \u2013 including drones of various types. The company regularly receives contracts from the US government, and in late 2025, Boeing selected Anduril as a supplier of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-12-18\/boeing-taps-anduril-in-bid-for-army-s-cruise-missile-interceptor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">rocket motors<\/a> for the development of its interceptors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is the development of the turbojet deep strike drone progressing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is developing two drones: Bravo and Kilo. The latter is a deep strike drone with a range of over 500 km. The drone will feature an internal combustion engine, be capable of operating without GNSS, and support target acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bravo is also a deep strike drone capable of carrying a 100\u2013200 kg warhead and achieving a maximum range of 2,000 km. The drone&#8217;s cruising speed reaches 650\u2013700 km\/h thanks to its turbojet engine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The developer states that the drone&#8217;s design minimises its detectability. It also uses a self-learning model to plan routes for each subsequent <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/uav\/\">UAV<\/a> based on the experience of the previous one. Bravo can be launched from ground vehicles or naval vessels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/bravo.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Bravo drone (Video: Triada Robotics)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the end of the year, the team plans to reach pre-series production of these turbojet systems and manufacture up to 100 units. The drone has already been built, is undergoing systems fine-tuning and is being prepared for testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional areas of the company&#8217;s work<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the course of developing Bravo, the team created Topaz \u2013 a hardware-software complex comprising a small module integrated into a ground, aerial, or maritime drone. The software enables management of drone swarms, receives real-time onboard analytics and supports target selection. The software supports three operating modes: manual with AI recommendations, automatic with minimal human intervention, and swarm mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the above products, the Triada Robotics lineup includes Onyx, a sensor unit that connects to drones of various types and reads data from multiple sensors: pressure, temperature, accelerometer, fuel consumption, navigation and cameras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Investment plans and joint ventures abroad<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is currently preparing for an <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/investments\/\">investment<\/a> round, which it plans to close within one to two months over the summer. Investors value the company at approximately $10m. At the same time, the company has applied for a Brave1 grant to develop the turbojet system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In parallel, the company is seeing interest in joint ventures from other manufacturers. Veselov says they want to see companies from the global top 20 among their partners, such as Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/06\/ukraine-netherlands-midstrike\/\"><strong>Read more<\/strong>: Ukraine and the Netherlands to jointly produce middle strike and deep strike drones<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We want to move in a measured way: develop our products, demonstrate their effectiveness across a certain number of deployments, and only then agree to joint production,&#8221; the CEO explains the strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the upcoming investment round to validate its valuation, Triada Robotics intends to proceed to the next one. Veselov announces that it will be larger in scale and is needed to develop manufacturing capacity in Ukraine. It is planned to close by the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where possible, the company is also considering establishing a joint venture with partners.
