Ukrainian defence tech company TAF Industries<\/a> has announced cooperation with Swedish firm Recas. They have signed a memorandum under which they are considering launching projects in Ukraine and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The release<\/a> states that the companies are discussing the creation of a joint venture in Sweden. Negotiations are also underway for a joint project in Ukraine to provide infrastructure to support the development of Recas’s UGV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swedish company is testing its Rufus UGV with one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. TAF Industries says it can provide its battlefield experience, production expertise, and scaling capabilities to further develop this system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the Ukrainian manufacturer has begun actively entering the UGV market. It first announced the launch of production of the Legit UGV<\/a>, which was developed in cooperation with military personnel from the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence. UGV joined the company’s ecosystem as a result of an M&A deal. That same month, TAF Industries acquired a majority stake in the Teslia UGV<\/a> manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recas works on various engineering tasks: it automates production, digitalises processes, and builds machines, lines and plants. The company also cooperates with Sweden’s defence sector, for which it has developed modular solutions and vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
