Several versions of the Ukrainian Octopus<\/a> interceptor drone have debuted on the Brave1 Market platform. Developed within Ukraine\u2019s Security and Defence Forces system, the drone is designed to counter Shahed-type attack UAVs. At least four different variants from separate manufacturers are currently listed in the catalogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has emerged that the latest Octopus-100 modification is now being produced by FPV drone manufacturers Fly Fish and Bytecore. A third version available on Brave1 Market is manufactured by Unwave, which announced plans to begin Octopus production in early February<\/a>. The fourth supplier has not disclosed its name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stated specifications of Octopus-100 include a maximum speed of up to 300\u2013305 km\/h, a 1.2 kg warhead, and automatic terminal guidance utilizing computer vision and artificial intelligence elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interceptor\u2019s endurance is rated at 15\u201320 minutes, with a maximum range of up to 25 km and an operational altitude ceiling of 3,500 m. The drone is integrated with radar assets and air defence frameworks, operates independently of GPS, exhibits resilience against electronic warfare, and automatically calculates interception trajectories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variants of the Octopus equipped with thermal imaging or infrared cameras for night operations and degraded-visibility conditions are available for procurement. The platforms are also specified to feature automatic terminal guidance, alongside remote or proximity warhead detonation utilizing LiDAR sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drones manufactured by Unwave are priced at approximately UAH 92,000 for the day-camera variant and UAH 128,000 for the night-optics configuration. The manufacturer Bytecore lists a price of UAH 145,000 for a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera. Another manufacturer offers a complete unmanned system comprising 10 drones for UAH 1.6 million. Fly Fish does not disclose prices for its Octopus configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serial production of the Octopus interceptor commenced in November 2025. At the time, the Ministry of Defence stated that the production technology had been transferred to three manufacturers<\/a>, while another eleven companies were preparing their production lines.
