Ukrainian company Skyeton has updated its Raybird reconnaissance drone. It has been integrated with a detection module<\/a> that identifies enemy interceptor drones in real time and alerts the operator to take evasive action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution has already been launched into serial production and integrated into operating systems, the company states. The module is designed to increase the aircraft’s survivability and the likelihood of successful mission completion, particularly during deep reconnaissance. The Raybird is built for long-endurance reconnaissance missions and can remain airborne for over 28 hours. Its maximum range exceeds 2,500 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The module can also be integrated into already-manufactured systems thanks to the drone’s modular architecture. In addition to the detection capability, Skyeton has this year equipped its drone with a satellite communications system<\/a> and a radiation sensor, which was tested in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2026, Skyeton agreed a cooperation with the Spanish company Escribano. The two companies will jointly develop and manufacture laser-guided strike systems based on Ukrainian drones. The company is currently not disclosing any details about the forthcoming product or joint production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
