President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Rob Jetten have signed a joint statement launching the Drone Deal initiative. According<\/a> to the Presidential Office, the agreement provides for the joint production of unmanned aerial vehicles within both Ukraine and the Netherlands, with the active involvement of enterprises from both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Drone Deal covers strategic cooperation in the development and manufacturing of drones, missiles, electronic warfare, and other defence technologies. The initiative also encompasses investment in defence infrastructure, research and innovation, as well as the exchange of operational experience gained by Ukraine during the conflict. A corresponding licensing agreement has also been finalised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to this agreement, during a meeting of the Ramstein group, the Netherlands announced its intention to invest approximately \u20ac248 million in drone production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, the Dutch Defence Cluster<\/a> was established in Ukraine as a platform for cooperation between Ukrainian and Dutch defence businesses, providing legal and financial support to defence firms. Additionally, last year, the Dutch startup Hyllus announced plans to scale<\/a> its drone production for Ukraine to 10,000 units per month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
