The platform, designated MANDRILL, signals the company\u2019s strategic entry into the land robotics sector and officially establishes a dedicated new domain within the group\u2019s portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MANDRILL has been engineered as a modular multi-mission platform capable of supporting a broad spectrum of operations \u2014 from intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance using EO\/IR sensors to logistics, casualty evacuation, engineering support, and electronic warfare. Notably, the system is designed to integrate robotic launch and recovery modules for UAVs. Its open-architecture design ensures the vehicle can be rapidly reconfigured with supplementary sensors and subsystems to meet evolving operational requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the platform has been officially presented, specific technical specifications have not yet been released to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/mandrill.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u041d\u0420\u041a MANDRILL \u0432\u0456\u0434 Quantum Systems. \u0412\u0456\u0434\u0435\u043e \u0432\u0438\u0440\u043e\u0431\u043d\u0438\u043a\u0430<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cornerstone of the MANDRILL concept is its seamless integration into the MOSAIC UXS software suite. This open ecosystem, which focuses on the interoperability of unmanned systems across different types and manufacturers, was <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/07\/quantum-systems-presented-mosaic\/\">introduced in Ukraine in 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By launching MANDRILL, Quantum Systems is formalising a Ground Robotics division focused on industrial-scale production and system-wide interoperability. The company states that its objective is to develop a scalable family of ground systems that can be integrated into existing military structures while addressing the complexities of modern multi-domain operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, Defender Media reported on the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/02\/tencore-fernride-jv\/\">joint venture between Fernride <\/a>(a subsidiary of Quantum Systems) and the Ukrainian UGV manufacturer Tencore.
