The development was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/taras-ostapchuk-07516366_ground-air-synergy-the-future-of-autonomous-activity-7429525121989570561-REx-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a> by Taras Ostapchuk, founder of Ratel Robotics, alongside the release of operational footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video alignleft\"><video height=\"1280\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 720 \/ 1280;\" width=\"720\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/download2.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Drone launch from the Ratel UGV platform. Manufacturer\u2019s video<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ground platform has been fitted with a new module \u2014 a dedicated launch bay that enables the transport and deployment of FPV drones directly from hazardous or remote areas. This eliminates the need for an operator\u2019s physical presence at the launch site. In this configuration, the UGV serves as a mobile base, a signal repeater, and a carrier for aerial assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The platform can carry up to 4 fibre-optic FPV drones of varying sizes. The launch module is integrated into the \u0431\u0430\u0437\u043e\u0432\u0430 configuration of the Ratel H, ensuring that its mobility and cross-country performance remain unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the Ratel H UGV is already in serial production, the variant equipped with the drone launch module has not yet been officially codified.
