It was developed by a Ukrainian company that produces UAVs under the F-drones brand. A representative of the manufacturer told Defender Media that the drone is already being used on the battlefield and has successfully intercepted enemy Shahed, Geran, and Gerbera drones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company says development of the interceptor began as early as autumn 2024. In summer 2025, the drone successfully completed testing and codification, and from autumn 2025, serial production and deliveries to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The UAV\u2019s maximum speed is 300 km\/h, with a flight endurance of up to 15 minutes and a warhead weight of 500 g. It is equipped with daytime and thermal imaging cameras. The declared tactical range is 36 km, and its inertial guidance system operates without GPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"432\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 704 \/ 432;\" width=\"704\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/litavr.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Striking a Russian UAV with the LITAVR interceptor. Manufacturer\u2019s video<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air targets are engaged through a kinetic strike and\/or detonation of the warhead upon impact with the target or on the operator\u2019s command. The platform does not have a relay; target designation is based on Sky Map data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aircraft delivers its payload to the target under manual guidance.  Among the manufacturer\u2019s near-term plans is the official release of a version of the F7 LITAVR equipped with a \u201clast mile\u201d guidance system; factory tests of this variant have already taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"368\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 624 \/ 368;\" width=\"624\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/litavr-2.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Intercepting an enemy target with the F7 Litavr drone.
