The team told <em>Defender Media<\/em> that it is working to extend the engine\u2019s continuous operation to two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Oleksiy Vynokur, the company\u2019s CEO, the engine can run on various types of fuel and is relatively inexpensive to produce, with the prototype estimated to cost around $500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSHOOM\u201120 operates with our developments \u2013 the deep\u2011strike KROOK\u20111 and the SUETA decoy drone. But it is versatile enough to be used with other UAVs,\u201d Vynokur said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u0412\u0438\u043f\u0440\u043e\u0431\u0443\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f SHOOM-20\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aASMcQ1TAmw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The engine has undergone internal testing so far. Following refinements, the team plans to conduct trial drone flights over distances of up to 200 km in the coming weeks.
