Ukraine has begun production of interceptor drones<\/a> in partnership with the United States. In an interview<\/a> with Bloomberg, Ukraine\u2019s President Volodymyr Zelensky said this is a Ukrainian-American joint production effort and expressed hope that output will expand in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zelensky also said that funds from frozen Russian assets could be used to buy air-defence systems from the US and Europe, and to finance production of drones used to strike Russian targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president did not specify which interceptors he was referring to. However, several possible projects have been mentioned in recent months. In July 2025 Zelensky said Ukraine had struck agreements with several American companies on joint drone production, including interceptors; the company Swift Beat was named<\/a> at that time. In October a 50\/50 joint venture was announced between Ukrainian firm Bullet (Degree-Trans LLC) and US company AIRO Group Holdings to produce high-speed interceptors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
