Defender Media spoke with the ground drone manufacturer and learned more about this development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Tarantul Cargo has an operational range of up to 15 kilometres and can cover up to 30 kilometres off-road on a single charge, overcoming obstacles up to 30 centimetres high. The UGV reaches speeds of up to 16 km\/h and can transport loads of up to 300 kilograms. It is also capable of fording water obstacles up to 40 centimetres deep. The robot is equipped with a night vision camera and supports ERLS and Starlink digital communication standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tarantul Cargo\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xC2eKjP-xtw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Video from manufacturer&#8217;s YouTube channel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the Tarantul Cargo, the manufacturer has also developed a smaller mine-laying UGV, the Tarantul, capable of carrying two mines and performing detonation.
