Danish defence company Terma has announced the opening of its own subsidiary in Kyiv. It is intended to facilitate closer cooperation with the Ukrainian authorities, defence forces, local industry and international partners. This is not a temporary engagement but a long-term partnership based on shared responsibility and collective security, the company said in a statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official event took place on 12 September in the capital with the participation of Terma CEO Henriette Thygesen, Danish Foreign Minister Lars L\u00f8kke Rasmussen and Ukrainian partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terma\u2019s systems have already demonstrated their effectiveness in combat conditions, carrying out tasks on the front line, strengthening the protection of the armed forces, supporting sovereignty and ensuring Ukraine\u2019s modern defence capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terma, headquartered in Denmark, specialises in high-tech products and systems for the defence and security sector. Among its developments are command and control systems, radar complexes, self-protection systems for aircraft, space technologies and aerostructures for the aviation industry. In addition, Terma PIDS+ pylons with an early missile-attack warning system are used on Ukrainian F-16 fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
