HIMERA, a Ukrainian developer of tactical communication systems, unveiled its latest advancements in Kyiv on March 19. The event gathered company co-founders Misha Rudominsky and Oleksiy Oliynyk, along with government officials, foundation representatives, and military personnel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Rudominsky, HIMERA radios<\/a> currently have over 6,000 users in the Ukrainian Defence Forces. \u201cWe offer a comprehensive solution, a tactical communication system not only for small groups and units but also for brigade level,\u201d he said. Rudominsky also reminded that HIMERA has recently received its first foreign contract and is already supplying<\/a> radios to the US Air Force and US Special Operations Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Misha Rudominsky, HIMERA is prepared to scale up production and aims to become the primary supplier of radios for the Ukrainian army. \u201cWe are already manufacturing up to 1,000 radios per month, and our current capacity allows us to produce up to 2,500 units per month,\u201d said the co-founder of HIMERA. \u201cWith systematic orders, we can supply 10,000 to 15,000 radios per month and, within a few years, fully equip the Ukrainian Defence Forces with domestically produced communication systems.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event also included a video showcasing HIMERA\u2019s products being tested at a training ground near Kyiv. The footage demonstrated the tactical communication system\u2019s performance in near-combat conditions and its integration with situational awareness systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The developers reported the record communication range for the company\u2019s radios established during the tests – 55 km. \u201cWe are now preparing to launch products that will enable us to relay radio communications and data from situational awareness systems over the Internet, extending our coverage to even greater distances,\u201d said HIMERA’s product expert Valeriy Kulyk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
