EU Defence and Security has <a href=\"https:\/\/eudis-business-accelerator.eu\/node\/108\">announced<\/a> that the programme is now open to Ukrainian teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fourth cohort will select 20 companies from EU member states, Norway, and Ukraine that are addressing current defence challenges across three core areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>autonomous systems and robotics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>counter-drone capabilities and protection against mass attacks using low-cost weapons;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>defence manufacturing, maintenance, and logistics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 20 selected companies will join an eight-month acceleration programme featuring five in-person training sessions across different European countries. These sessions will offer participants direct engagement with defence industry representatives, military personnel, and investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Startups will also receive tailored mentoring, business development support, and \u20ac120,000 in non-dilutive funding, with no equity surrender required. The highest-performing participants will be eligible for an additional \u20ac50,000 in bonus funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eudis-business-accelerator.eu\/\">application deadline<\/a> is 20 November 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/events\/\"><strong>Follow the most important deftech events in Ukraine and around the world with the Defender Media calendar<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EUDIS Defence Business Accelerator is a <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/european-union\/\">European Union<\/a> programme designed to support <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/startups\/\">startups<\/a> and dual-use tech firms developing defence solutions.
