The device is designed to detect analogue FPV drone signals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new version retains three scanning bands but adds an expanded mid-band range at 3.3 GHz, covering frequencies from 2,870 to 4,500 MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th><\/th><th>Frequency ranges<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Chuyka 3.0<\/td><td>900\u20131800 MHz, 2870\u20134080 MHz, 4860\u20136060 MHz<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Chuyka 3 plus<\/td><td>900\u20132200 MHz, 2870\u20134500 MHz, 4860\u20136060 MHz<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chuyka 3 Plus automatically scans three frequency ranges. A full cycle takes 4\u20138 seconds. When the device detects a signal, it issues audio and visual alerts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Signal information is displayed on a small screen, while the intercepted video from an FPV drone\u2019s camera can be viewed on a larger display. The detector can also be connected to a video output to transmit the image to an external screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/bluebird\/\">BlueBird Tech<\/a>, the detection range is up to 4 km and depends on operating conditions and antenna type. The device weighs 650 g, has an IP54-rated PETG plastic housing and operates for up to six hours on its built-in 4,500 mAh battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BlueBird Tech <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/06\/ukranian-made-fpv-scaner-chuyka\/\">presented<\/a> the Chuyka 3.0 <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/drone-detectors\/\">drone detector<\/a> in June 2025. In 2026, the Ukrainian manufacturer has already unveiled the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/06\/bluebird-tech-chuyka-4\/\">Chuyka 4.0<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/10\/bluebird-chuika-4-5-0\/\">Chuyka 4.5.0<\/a> versions \u2014 the latter featuring four frequency ranges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new version expands two of its three scanning frequency ranges.
