The company said this in a press release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to SkyFall, this is the third StarGate air evacuation in a week and a half. The company is working with CODE 9.2 to develop and expand this evacuation method and plans to introduce the technology in other units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the evacuation took place<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The serviceman, Andrii, call sign &#8220;Donbas&#8221;, had been at a combat position since late May. On 2 September, he was injured by a mine. The position was located two kilometres from the Russian border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation was planned over several days. StarGate flew more than 15 km one way, picked up the wounded serviceman from the position and transported him to a location from which he was transferred to hospital. He is currently receiving treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/stargate_evakuacziya-1.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Video provided by SkyFall<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 27 October, Defender <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/10\/code-9-2-stargate-evac\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/10\/code-9-2-stargate-evac\/\">reported<\/a> that CODE 9.2 fighters had evacuated two wounded soldiers with the StarGate casevac drone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">StarGate is a specialised unmanned platform for <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/evacuation-drones\/\">evacuating<\/a> wounded personnel from the battlefield. According to SkyFall, it can carry a payload of up to 150 kg and reach speeds of up to 105 km\/h. The company developed the evacuation module using certified medical stretchers.
