The equipment was part of a batch of reconnaissance and strike assets worth UAH 69.8 million, received by seven units under the \u201cJaws\u201d fundraising campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Black Betty is a new project by Ukrspecsystems, described as a lower-cost modification of the RAM-2X. The munition&#8217;s technical specifications have not been disclosed. Black Betty was developed for mass combat deployment and precision strikes against enemy logistics, including moving targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are delivering Black Betty for the first time: it is a new strike capability in the hands of military units. Shark-M and RAM-2X have already demonstrated their effectiveness when used together,\u201d said Bohdan Danyliv, Head of the Military Department at the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-left wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/insights\/ram-2x-interview-rymaruk\/\"><strong>Everything about the RAM-2X mid-strike drone<\/strong>: interview with Ukrspecsystems deputy director Andrii Rymaruk<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2025\/10\/seg-marco-on-shark-drones\/\">Shark-M<\/a> and loitering munitions are designed to operate in tandem: the reconnaissance UAV detects the target, while the strike asset engages it.
