{"id":106436,"date":"2026-10-29T15:33:34","date_gmt":"2026-10-29T13:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/?p=106436"},"modified":"2026-10-29T15:34:34","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T13:34:34","slug":"gereon-saber-integrity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/10\/gereon-saber-integrity\/","title":{"rendered":"ARX Robotics and ROBONEERS integrate SABER combat module with GEREON UGV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">German company ARX Robotics and Ukrainian defence technology firm <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/roboneers\/\">ROBONEERS<\/a> have completed initial integration testing of the SABER combat module with the GEREON unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platform, the companies told Defender Media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The companies plan to integrate ROBONEERS\u2019 SABER combat modules in the M2 and MK 19 (M) configurations with the GEREON platform by the end of 2026. Initial deliveries will be made to meet the operational needs of Ukraine\u2019s Defence Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GEREON provides mobility, power, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, while the SABER module provides fire support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GEREON is ARX Robotics\u2019 series of medium-sized unmanned ground vehicles. According to the company, it represents the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/05\/gereon-ugv\/\">largest fleet of Western-built unmanned ground vehicles<\/a> currently deployed in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GEREON\u2019s modular design allows the platform to be adapted for various tasks, including logistical resupply, casualty evacuation, electronic warfare, reconnaissance, combat operations, and counter-uncrewed aerial system roles.
