The drone travelled almost 20 km without an operator thanks to AI integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To begin, the route must be scanned and a 3D model created, explains Dzhava, a senior <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/ugv\/\">UGV<\/a> operator. The drone uploads this model, then travels along the road autonomously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This technology lets the operator focus on tracking threats, such as mines or enemy FPV drones, rather than on the driving itself.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=314&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F1122240843620620%2F&#038;show_text=false&#038;width=560&#038;t=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lava say that autonomous movement is currently suitable for logistics missions. However, the technology will be most useful in evacuation operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apex.AI is an international company that develops software for robotics, physical AI and more.
