Ukrainian defence companies have signed 54 subsidised finance lease agreements worth a total of UAH 244.53 million. The number of agreements has doubled over the past month, the Ministry of Defence reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scheme enables<\/a> manufacturers to acquire plant and equipment without paying the full cost upfront. This allows companies to upgrade their production facilities while retaining funds for other manufacturing needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state subsidises part of the lessor\u2019s financing charge, reducing the rate paid by participating companies to 5% per annum. Each agreement can provide up to UAH 500 million in financing over a term of up to five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligible assets include production equipment, machinery, vehicles, automation systems and other assets needed to manufacture, repair and upgrade weapons, military equipment and ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scheme has been running<\/a> since late 2025 and is open to companies designated as critically important within the defence industrial base<\/a>. To apply, companies must contact an authorised lessor, which will assess their financial capacity, verify their status and check that the equipment meets the scheme\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
