Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/aerospace-defense\/ukraines-fire-point-gets-113-million-state-loan-guarantee-denmark-2026-10-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reported<\/a> this on 21 October, citing a statement from the Danish government. The loan will go to Fire Point\u2019s Danish subsidiary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Danish export and investment fund EIFO will channel the financing. According to Reuters, the state guarantee was needed because the war in Ukraine prevents <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/fire-point\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/fire-point\/\">Fire Point<\/a> from borrowing in Denmark on ordinary market terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reuters does not say that the money will go towards building Fire Point\u2019s plant in <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/denmark\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/denmark\/\">Denmark<\/a>. However, Danish Defence Minister Jeppe Bruus said that locating production abroad helps Ukraine protect its supply chain from Russian strikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/09\/fire-point-fp-7-combat\/\">Read more: Fire Point begins combat trials of FP-7 ballistic missile<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire Point is building a solid rocket fuel plant in Denmark. Production will be located in Vojens in the south of the country, near Skrydstrup Air Base. The plant was <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/03\/iryna-terekh-talents-arsenal\/\">planned<\/a> to launch in 2026, but in August Fire Point CEO Iryna Terekh <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivindependent.com\/fire-point-confirms-fp-7-ballistic-missile-combat-ready-in-september\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a> the launch was postponed to the end of 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reason is that the earlier-acquired building does not meet safety requirements for producing solid rocket fuel, so the company will have to build a new facility. Meanwhile, the estimated cost of the project has risen from \u20ac50 million to more than \u20ac150 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reuters also notes that Fire Point has signed agreements with more than a dozen European defence companies for radars, guidance systems, and other components for the Freyja missile defence project, which is meant to give Ukraine an alternative to
