{"id":104642,"date":"2026-10-09T15:51:30","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T12:51:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/?p=104642"},"modified":"2026-10-09T15:53:44","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T12:53:44","slug":"kyiv-business-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/10\/kyiv-business-centre\/","title":{"rendered":"British business centre for joint defence projects opens in Kyiv"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/kyivbusinesscentre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Kyiv Business Centre<\/a> has opened in Kyiv as a permanent hub for industrial cooperation between Ukrainian and British defence companies, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence <a href=\"https:\/\/mod.gov.ua\/news\/minoborony-posyliuie-spivpratsiu-z-brytanskym-opk-u-kyievi-vidkryvsia-kyiv-business-centre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the centre will offer Ukraine\u2019s defence industry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukrainian defence companies can use the Kyiv Business Centre to find British industrial partners, secure funding, launch\u00a0joint production\u00a0of defence products, and scale up production capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The centre will also work with Ukrainian companies planning to establish subsidiaries in the <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/uk\/\">United Kingdom<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/hanna-hvozdiar\/\">Hanna Hvozdiar<\/a>, the centre\u2019s work will create additional opportunities for joint development, production and investment in Ukraine\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/tags\/defense-industrial-complex\/\">defence industry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the Kyiv Business Centre will operate<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kyiv Business Centre is operated by British company Audere Group in a consortium with AMS Global Solutions and Hillmont Partners.  Its work will focus on three areas: industry, innovation and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the centre, British companies can engage directly with Ukrainian government bodies, defence manufacturers, innovation-sector representatives, and investors. They will also receive information about Ukraine\u2019s current requirements, find local partners and develop joint projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another task is to make it easier for British small and medium-sized enterprises to operate in Ukraine, as costs, security requirements and administrative procedures have made it difficult for them to maintain a permanent presence in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The centre is building a network involving international companies, Ukrainian government bodies, defence enterprises and investors. Its work is based on more than 40 established partnerships between Ukrainian and British companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plans to open such a centre <a href=\"https:\/\/thedefender.media\/en\/2026\/08\/uk-ukraine-business-centre\/\">were announced<\/a> in August 2026.
